January 9th through February 13th at Mt. Hood Community College in Portland, OR.
A community education course led by James R. Gapinski, focusing on the short story as an art form. Students examine literary craft through writing workshops, selected readings, and lectures.

High Art & Love Poems Release Reading
Thursday, December 6th, 7:00pm at Woodland Pattern Book Center in Milwaukee, WI
Join Keith Gaustad and two of our editors as well celebrate the release of High Art & Love Poems.  Keith will read selections from the chapbook and be available to sign copies.

A community education course led by Susan Lynch, focusing on writing poetry and studying poetics. Students read selected texts, write poems, share their work, and learn about various poetic devices.

Writing Course: "Fires: Poetry in the Palm of Your Hand"
September 13th through October 18th at St. Martin's University in Lacey, WA.
A free, non-credit workshop for those interested in learning more about poetry and writing, taught by The Conium Review's Associate Editor, Tristan Beach.

A free exhibit featuring new poetry books and journals published in the United States.  The Conium Review will be among the numerous titles on display.

Monday, July 23rd, 7:30pm-9:30pm at the Jack London in Portland, OR.
A reading event commemorating the release of The Conium Review's second issue.  Visiting writers Jasmine Cronin and Maya West read; the other readers are Douglas Allen, Thor Benson, James R. Gapinski, Susan Lynch, and Nancy MacLaren.
