Writing Course: "Short Story Writing and Publishing" (Winter 2013) January 9th through February 13th at Mt. Hood Community College in Portland, OR. A community education course led by James R. Gapinski, focusing on the short story as an art form. Students examine literary craft through writing workshops, selected readings, and lectures.

A community education course led by Susan Lynch, focusing on writing poetry and studying poetics. Students read selected texts, write poems, share their work, and learn about various poetic devices.
Writing Course: "Fires: Poetry in the Palm of Your Hand" September 13th through October 18th at St. Martin's University in Lacey, WA. A free, non-credit workshop for those interested in learning more about poetry and writing, taught by The Conium Review's Associate Editor,Tristan Beach.
